The incident reportedly occurred in the Village of Lynnhaven and was reported to the SCSO in the early morning hours of Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Following the incident, the victim installed multiple cameras around the exterior of her residence, which captured the suspect, 45-year-old Nicolas McCray returning to the residence three days after the battery.
