LAKE CITY, FL (352today.com) – Back in mid-September, the Town of Lady Lake issued a call to residents to participate in a sort of community branding initiative—an “identity project designed to answer that question and create a clear, recognizable identity that reflects the community’s character, history and future,” according to the announcement.

The project included a public outreach meeting and town commission workshop geared toward collecting the community’s input on what makes Lady Lake, well, Lady Lake.

In addition to the meetings, the town also provided an online survey offering all residents an opportunity to weigh in on their favorite things about the municipality, and the characteristics that define it.

“This project begins by listening,” the announcement read, in part. “Residents, business owners, Town employees, faith-based organizations, nonprofits and other stakeholders are encouraged to share what they believe makes Lady Lake special, what they value about the community and how they would like Lady Lake to be represented in the years ahead.”

The Town of Lady Lake is still collecting survey results, and residents have through tomorrow to share their thoughts and opinions. The survey is available online here.

As the project materials state: “Ultimately, the project comes down to one question the Town wants the community to help answer: What is Lady Lake to you?”
