A meteor shower double header will delight skywatchers this week

The Southern Delta Aquariid meteor shower will coincide with a second smaller meteor shower, the Alpha Capricornids. Experts say peak activity should be early morning on Tuesday, July 30.

National Weather Service advises of strong storms, potential flooding for Marion County

A flood advisory has also been activated by the NWS until 3 p.m. Saturday, July 27.  The NWS says that areas affected include low-lying areas in Marion County including Ocala, Ocala Airport, Reddick, Lowell, Dunnellon, and Rainbow Lakes Estates.
