Marion County Day: Marion County Celebrates its 180th anniversary with a community celebration on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McPherson Government Complex at 601 SE 25th Ave. in Ocala. Learn about the county’s history, browse booths filled with local arts & crafts, plus plenty of activities for the kids including bounce houses and a petting zoo.

Wheels for Meals: This classic car show on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. benefits Marion Senior Services. There will be food trucks, vendors and DJ Lewis Stokes will provide music from 93.7 K-Country playlist. The event takes place at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion at 2232 NE Jacksonville Rd. in Ocala. Cost: Free for the public to attend. $20 for anyone who wants to display their car.

Gator Fly-In: The fly-in on Saturday, March 23, is in conjunction with Armed Services Appreciation Day honoring all branches of military. Vintage planes will be on display along with cars from the Porsche Club. Helicopter rides over The Swamp will be available. Plus, live music and food trucks.

Longines League of Nations: The international horse jumping competition wraps up on Saturday, March 23, at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala. Reserved seating is sold out. General admission, standing-room-only tickets may still be available. The parade of nations begins at 4 p.m., competition starts at 4:30 p.m. The event wraps up with a drone show at 8:40 p.m. and awards ceremony afterwards.
