OCALA, FL (352Today.com) – It hasn’t been a great morning for commuters or pedestrians in Ocala.
In addition to the incident involving a pedestrian at Pine Street and Silver Springs Boulevard, another rush-hour collision in Ocala sent one person to the hospital and caused a massive slowdown on one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares.
According to a social media post by Ocala Fire Rescue, a three-car collision occurred at the intersection of SR 200 and SW 20th Court at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Ocala Fire Rescue, Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue responded to the scene; OPD diverted traffic while responders tended to the individuals involved.
One person was transported to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported.
