MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The commute to work may be a bit more challenging in certain locations into October.

Roadways at several locations will be impacted because of pavement repairs through Oct. 9, 2024.

The following locations will be undergoing infrastructure improvements.

  • South Magnolia Avenue, from SE Hwy. 42 to SE 160th St,
  • Southeast 16oth St., from South Magnolia Ave. to South Hwy. 475
  • Northeast 112th Avenue, from NE Hwy. 314 to NE 49th St.
  • Northeast 49th St., from NE 112th Ave. to NE 115th Ct.
  • Northeast 115th Court, from NE 49th St. to NE 52nd Place Rd.
  • Northeast 52nd Place Rd, from NE 115th Ct. to NE Hwy. 314

The roadway repairs will be done by Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. Workers and equipment will be present in the county right-of-way.

There will be crews at the sites, who will place barricades and signs to direct traffic through the work zones, and commuters should expect delays and use alternate roads when possible.
