MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The rest area on southbound Interstate 75 (I-75) near mile marker 346 in Marion County will be closed for maintenance from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Entrance and exit ramps will be undergoing repairs.
These upgrades are part of a larger project by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) that involves resurfacing I-75 for 14 miles, starting from the Sumter County line to State Road (S.R.) 200. If you need to stop, there are other rest areas 37 miles north at mile marker 382 in Alachua County and 39 miles south at mile marker 307 in Sumter County.
Keep in mind that the schedule for this work might change if the weather is bad or if something unexpected happens.
