MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Commuters will have to alter their routes due to an upcoming series of infrastructure improvements.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be implementing safety and operational improvements on State Road (SR) 200 from just east of Interstate 75 (I-75) to U.S. 301/441.

Schedules may change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

The planned lane closure is scheduled between Sept. 22 through the morning of Sept. 29.

  • 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22 through 6 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29: Motorists should be advised there will be overnight lane closures along the outside lane of northbound SR 200, between SW 35th Terrace and U.S. 301.

The following projects will be conducted along the I-75 corridor with the following lane closures and updates for these specific projects. The following projects are scheduled to take place between Sept. 22 and Sept. 28.

  • 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, through 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23: Motorists should be advised that the I-75 northbound on ramp from County Road CR 484 will be closed overnight to remove barricades and signal poles.
    Detour information: Motorists wishing to travel south on I-75 from CR 484 should travel east on CR 484, turn right on CR 475, turn left on SR 44, continue east on SR 44, and turn right at the on ramp to I-75 southbound.
  • 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24: Motorists should be advised that the I-75 southbound off ramp to CR 484 will be closed overnight to remove barricades and signal poles.
    Detour information: Motorists traveling on I-75 southbound wishing to exit at CR 484 Exit 341 should continue south on I-75, exit at SR 44 (exit 329), turn left on SR 44, turn left to enter the on ramp to I-75 northbound, and exit at CR 484, exit 341.
  • 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, through 6 a.m. on Sept. 25: Motorists should be advised that the I-75 southbound on ramp from CR. 484 will be closed overnight to remove barricades and signal poles.
    Detour information: Motorists wishing to travel south on I-75 from CR 484 should travel east on CR 484, turn right on CR 475, turn left on SR 44, continue east on SR 44, and turn right at the on ramp to I-75 southbound.
  • 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, through 6 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26: Motorists should be advised that the I-75 northbound on ramp from CR 484 will be closed overnight to remove barricades and signal poles.
    Detour information: Motorists wishing to travel north on I-75 should travel east on CR 484, turn left at CR.475, turn left at SE 32nd Street (which becomes SW42nd Street and then SW 43rd Street Road), turn right on SR 200, and turn left at the on ramp to northbound I-75.
  • 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, through 6 a.m. on Friday, Sept,.27: Motorists should be advised that the I-75 northbound off ramp to CR 484 will be closed overnight to remove barricades and signal poles.
    Detour information: Motorists traveling on I-75 northbound wishing to exit at CR 484 (exit 341) should continue north on I-75, exit at SR 200 (exit 350), turn left on SR 200, turn left to enter the on ramp to I-75 southbound, and exit at CR 484 (exit 341).
  • 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, through 6 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28:  Motorists should be advised that periodic overnight northbound and southbound closures will occur as friction course is added to various lanes.
