BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – Get your little ghosts and goblins ready for a not-so-spooky treat.
The City of Belleview has shared that all vehicle and trunk spots for the 2024 Trunk or Treat event, sponsored by Gary Yeomans Ford, are fully booked in record time. This event will happen on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lake Lillian, providing a fun and safe Halloween experience for families in the area.
Robert Vass, Events and Promotions Manager for the City of Belleview, says that Trunk or Treat has become a beloved event in Belleview, allowing children of all ages to celebrate Halloween in a secure and festive setting.
“Trunk or Treat is one of those special events that brings our community together in a way that’s both fun and meaningful. It’s a night where families can make memories, kids can safely enjoy the magic of Halloween, and everyone can come together to celebrate the season,” says Vass. “With the amazing support from our sponsors and the incredible line-up of activities, this year’s event promises to be better than ever. We invite everyone to join us at Lake Lillian for a night filled with laughter, creativity, and, of course, plenty of treats!”
The event will showcase over 45 uniquely decorated vehicles offering treats, along with hayrides, a haunted house, music, and inflatables. The Orange Blossom Gardens Lions Club of Lady Lake and the Ocala Fort King Lions Club will host pumpkin painting and decorating.
“We are absolutely thrilled by the enthusiastic response from our community,” said Sandi McKamey, Belleview City Administrator. “To see all the vehicle spots fill up so quickly shows how much our residents and local organizations value this event. Trunk or Treat is a cornerstone of our fall festivities, and this year’s early registration of vehicles shows our community is more engaged than ever. We’re excited to bring together families, local businesses, and volunteers for a memorable and safe Halloween celebration.”
