CRYSTAL RIVER, FL (352today.com) – Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Crystal River announced on Facebook that it is closing two facilities ahead of Hurricane Helene.
TGH Crystal River says that it has closed its facilities, including the Emergency Center, starting at 6 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, because of the expected storm surge from Hurricane Helene.
The hospital, on its Facebook page, announced that it has sent home patients who are stable and moving those who need ongoing care to other facilities nearby. They stress that their main focus is on safety while continuing to meet the community’s medical needs.
