Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs has been named a finalist in the Defender Services Awards by Chase. This honor showcases their dedication to helping people with disabilities and brings important national attention to their essential efforts.
Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs is known for training service dogs, particularly for veterans and civil servants. In almost 15 years, they have matched over 400 people with service dogs. Their commitment has significantly improved the lives of many, offering emotional support and promoting independence for individuals with disabilities.
Guardian Angels, as a finalist, says they have already received $5,000, adding that the money will support their goal of training and placing more service dogs. They also say that it will help pay for training, vet care, and other important needs for the dogs.
You can vote through Oct. 17, 2024, to determine the winners in each category. Each category winner will receive a new Defender 130 vehicle, specially customized to support their mission.
