FHP says that the accident happened during stop-and-go traffic when the driver of one tractor trailer failed to stop in time, resulting in a collision with two other tractor trailers. After the impact, they say the first tractor trailer hit a guardrail and caught fire.
Drivers heading north on I-75 should expect minor delays as crews work to clear the scene. The right lane of northbound I-75 at the CR-484 overpass remains closed while cleanup and investigation continue. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when approaching the area.
