WILDWOOD, FL (352today.com) – Kids Central Inc. says that the response from its holiday Amazon Wishlist has been overwhelming, but the nonprofit is calling on the community to keep the momentum going.
With the Dec. 12 deadline fast approaching, additional donations are needed to make sure that the young adults in their Independent Living Program experience a joyful holiday season.
The program supports youth ages 16-23 who are aging out—or have already aged out—of foster care.
“Many of these young adults have spent much of their lives in the foster care system and deserve a sense of normalcy and happiness this holiday season,” Kids Central shares. “Some of them even have young children of their own, and your generosity can make their holidays brighter.”

Kids Central is accepting gifts, gift cards, and monetary donations to ensure every participant has a memorable holiday. Contributions can be made in several ways:

Upcoming Casino Night Fundraiser
In addition to holiday donations, Kids Central is gearing up for its annual Casino Night Fundraiser on Feb. 28, 2025, at the Ocala Downtown Market. This event will support children in need within the organization’s care network.
The nonprofit is seeking sponsors for the event, which promises an evening of entertainment and philanthropy. Sponsors will gain visibility, connect with potential clients, and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children.
