The training sessions will take place on the following dates and times:

  • Feb. 5 – 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Inert)
  • Feb. 6 – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Inert)
  • Feb. 7 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Inert)

Officials caution that wildlife may be temporarily displaced due to the bombing exercises. Motorists should exercise additional vigilance while driving through the forest and surrounding areas. Residents are also advised to secure any items around their homes that could attract displaced wildlife.

For noise complaints related to the training, residents can contact the Navy by emailing nasjax.noisecomplaints@us.navy.mil.

The Pinecastle Range Complex is the only East Coast bombing range designated for such military training, allowing aviators to refine their skills in controlled conditions while ensuring operational readiness.
