OCALA, FL (352today.com) – HCA Florida Ocala Hospital has been recognized as a Regional Resuscitation Center of Excellence, making it the first hospital in Marion County and only the second in Florida to achieve this prestigious designation.

This honor, awarded by the Florida Resuscitation Center Committee (FRCC), recognizes hospitals that meet rigorous standards for cardiac arrest patient care. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is now designated as a Comprehensive Resuscitation Center, the highest level possible under FRCC guidelines.

With cardiac arrest survival rates in Florida at just 9%, this initiative aims to improve emergency care and patient outcomes.
