OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Get ready for a night of creativity and celebration as the 24th Annual Marion County Student Media Festival takes the stage Friday, April 11. The free event kicks off at 7 p.m. at the Browne Greaton Cole Auditorium on the MTI campus, 1614 E. Fort King St. in Ocala, and is open to the public.

From fun student films to impressive video productions, this festival is all about shining a light on the talent and hard work of students in every grade level. This year, there are 213 entries from 18 Marion County schools.

You can attend in person or tune in live on the Marion County Public Schools YouTube channel. Hosting the night is Sullivan Hogan, a local video pro with a passion for storytelling.

Winners will take home certificates, trophies, and even cash prizes for their schools. Special honors like the THEME Award and the Joel Hartley Cinematography Award will also be handed out, keeping alive the legacy of two longtime festival champions.
