Crude oil prices, which account for about half the cost of gasoline, fell 3% last week. Oil closed Friday at $63.02 per barrel, down $1.66 from the week before. Meanwhile, gasoline futures ticked up by 12 cents over the past two weeks.
Locally, drivers in Ocala can find the cheapest gas at the Marathon station at 4596 SE Maricamp Road, where regular unleaded was last seen selling for $2.93 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.
