OCALA, FL (352today.com) — Fine Arts for Ocala (FAFO) is keeping a close eye on the weekend forecast as preparations continue for this year’s Symphony Under the Stars event, scheduled for Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, at the Ocala Golf Club.

The annual outdoor concert features a live performance by the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, capped off by a fireworks finale. However, the possibility of inclement weather has prompted organizers to prepare contingency plans.

Weather Watch

  • FAFO has stated that guest safety is their top concern and that they are “closely monitoring” weather forecasts.
  • If weather conditions become unsafe, a decision about postponing or rescheduling the event will be made promptly.
  • FAFO will issue updates via their website and social media to keep attendees informed.

“We are working diligently behind the scenes to ensure a wonderful and memorable Symphony experience for everyone,” FAFO said in a statement.
