OCALA, FL (352today.com) — VITAS Healthcare has officially opened its newest office in Marion County at 1930 SW 38th Ave., Suite 101, Ocala, marking a significant step in its mission to provide compassionate end-of-life care to Floridians in need.
During a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, June 27, the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP), local healthcare leaders and community members gathered to learn more about the services offered by VITAS, which specializes in comfort-centered hospice care for patients with complex and high-acuity needs. The new office will serve as a hub for coordinating care that prioritizes dignity, peace of mind, and support for families navigating serious illness.

“This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the growing need for high-quality hospice and palliative care across Florida,” said Jessica-Lynn Carvajal, Public Relations Specialist, VITAS Healthcare.
With its arrival in Marion County, VITAS aims to strengthen partnerships with area hospitals, physicians, and caregivers to ensure patients receive timely, personalized care in the setting that’s right for them.
