OCALA, FL. (352today) — The community is invited to visit the College of Central Florida’s farm campus for Field Day on Monday, Nov. 17, 2-6 p.m. Visitors can explore the 103-acre working farm and learn about CF’s Agribusiness Management and Equine Studies programs while exploring career paths, networking with industry organizations and connecting with faculty, staff, students and alumni. Faculty members will present live demonstrations with resident livestock and high-tech agriculture drones.

This free open house event is presented with Marion County as part of the Farm City Week celebration that promotes awareness of local agriculture.

Field Day is the perfect stage to showcase the incredible educational opportunities we offer to both current and future students,” said Dr. John D. Ash, CF dean of Business, Technology and Agricultural Sciences. “Florida’s agricultural technology boom will be on full display, and we’re proud that CF is helping lead the way. With our cutting-edge Ag Tech programs, world-class equine sciences faculty, clear career pathways, and even three beloved horses, field day promises an experience that will be inspiring for everyone.”

The CF farm campus is located at 4020 S.E. Third Ave. (Highway 475) in Ocala.
