OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala International Airport will host a public meeting on Tuesday,
Dec. 9, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Elevation 89, 1770 SW 60th Ave., to share updates on the Airport Master Plan and gather community feedback.

The purpose of the meeting is to present and receive public comment on the Preferred Development
Alternative, which outlines the long-term vision for future airfield, landslide, and support facility
improvements at the Ocala Internation Airport.

Attendees will also receive a review of previously presented Master Plan components, including:

  • Inventory of existing conditions
  • Aviation forecasts
  • Facility requirements, including demand and capacity analysis

The meeting will highlight the next steps in the planning process, including project phasing and
preparation of the final Airport Layout Plan for submission to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Community members, airport users, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend, ask questions and
provide input on proposed development concepts.
