OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Former Gator and NFL player and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow will be on hand for a meet-and-greet at the grand opening of the new Walmart Neighborhood Market at 3535 SE Maricamp Rd. in Ocala on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026.
The UF legend is just one of the attractions Walmart hopes will draw folks to the ribbon cutting at this new location, where a gas station is reportedly already open and serving Walmart+ customers. Other incentives include $25 gift cards for the first 250 customers and photo ops with fellow former UF and NFL players Mike and Maurkice Pouncey.
The grand opening ceremony starts at 8:30 a.m.
Tebow will be on hand at 3 p.m.; the first 250 customers who line up to meet him beginning at 2 p.m. will receive an autographed mini football.
