OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Rows of handmade goods, the scent of fresh candles and baked treats and the hum of conversation filled Expo Center 2 at the World Equestrian Center as the Ocala Spring Craft Fair welcomes visitors into a weekend of creativity and community.
The two-day event, held March 28-29, features more than 200 vendors from across the region, offering a wide range of handmade items including jewelry, home decor, artwork, plants and specialty foods. Organized by Ballantine Management, the fair is now in its third year.

Attendees can move steadily between booths, browsing everything from wood-burned art and magnets featuring animals and nature scenes to handcrafted earrings and detailed home pieces. Some vendors displayed wood and metal creations, including decorative cabinets and light fixtures, while others focused on smaller, personalized goods such as glass art, polymer clay pieces and permanent jewelry.
The event also highlighted a mix of specialty vendors and food-based businesses. Sellers offered items like homemade dips, baked goods, jerky and sweets, while others focused on candles, soaps and body care products. Plant vendors added greenery to the space, contributing to the fair’s spring atmosphere.
With a lengthy vendor list that includes businesses such as Bee Kind Kraft Company, Dave’s Wood Lab, Mimi’s Bakehouse, Bill’s Bees and Vikki’s Gnome Sweet Gnomes, the fair emphasizes variety and locally crafted goods.

The indoor event is family-friendly, with free parking and an appearance by the Easter Bunny scheduled both days, adding to its appeal as a weekend outing.
The Ocala Spring Craft Fair continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with $5 admission and free entry for children 12 and under.
As the event carries into its final day, organizers expect another steady flow of visitors looking to shop small and support local artisans. More than just a marketplace, the fair offers a reminder of the value of handmade work–where each booth reflects the creativity, time and personality of its maker, and every purchase comes with a story.
