The Sumter County Public Library located at Pinellas Plaza where Wildwood meets The Villages is hosting its own preparation program this Thursday, May 14, 2026.
“Get ready for hurricane season by attending this informational workshop focused on hurricane preparedness,” read an announcement. “Learn crucial steps to take before, during, and after a storm to ensure the safety of yourself, your family, and your property.”
This workshop begins at 2 p.m. and is open to the pubic.
