BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The City of Belleview announced that the Belleview Sports Complex, where the city’s free Fourth of July celebration of America’s 250th birthday will take place, will be closed beginning Monday, June 29, 2026, through the completion of Saturday’s events.

The complex, located at 6501 SE 107th St., will be closed all week in preparation for the Fourth. When the day finally arrives, only the complex’s main entrance along SE 107th Street will be open to the public; the entrance on SE 67th Avenue will be reserved for vendors and those participating in or working the events.

The gates will reopen at 5 p.m. for the free celebration, which includes food trucks, face painting, kids’ zones and other family-friendly fun before the fireworks display scheduled for 9:15 p.m.

The city further advises residents interested in attending the festivities that parking in the Belleview Sports Complex is limited. Additional parking will be available at Everyday Church (6419 SE 107th St.), Lake Lillian (SE Robinson Rd.) and Belleview City Hall (5343 SE Abshier Blvd.), with complimentary shuttle service running to and from the complex throughout the event.

“City officials anticipate significant attendance and encourage residents and visitors to review important event information prior to arriving,” read a statement.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as well as water and other nonalcoholic beverages. Alcoholic drinks and personal fireworks are among the prohibited items, and smoking, vaping or riding personal vehicles like ebikes and ATVs is not permitted.
