MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – September is here, and with it comes Give4Marion‘s annual 33-hour fundraising drive for multiple Marion County nonprofits.
Started in 2020 by the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County to help fund nonprofit organizations during the pandemic, Give4Marion has since become an annual community online tradition, grouping nonprofits that are based or provide services in Marion County and providing a single, efficient, well-publicized web portal where folks can go to donate directly to the charity of their choice.
Give4Marion 2026 kicks off at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and runs until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16 (though an “early donation” period starts a week before on Sept. 8).
Participating organizations have not yet been finalized, but when the donation portal opens at give4marion.org, donors will be able to browse the list by category and learn about the mission of each, or search specifically for a single organization. The breadth of nonprofits is impressive; past and present participants include Horse Farms Forever, Veterans Helping Veterans USA, Humane Society of Marion County, Marion Therapeutic Riding Association, and many more.
The giving frenzy culminates in a celebration party at Reilly Arts Center on the evening of Sept. 16.
Many participating nonprofits are already searchable on Give4Marion’s site, so see if your favorite Marion County organization is represented, or make plans to check back when the giving starts.
