OCALA, FL (352today.com) – 352Today has received reports and images from the scene of a fatal two-car collision that occurred earlier this morning at SE Maricamp Road and SE 36th Ave. in Ocala.
According to a post by the Ocala Police Department, the crash occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was transported as a trauma alert.
Multiple lanes were blocked along a major commuting throughfare, and there is reportedly still some slowdown as cleanup and investigation continue.
