The new technology combines ultra-high-definition, 3D imaging with specialized fluorescence-guided visualization and a high-tech microscope to help surgeons more accurately identify tumors and other abnormalities during procedures. For patients with certain cancerous brain tumors, the enhanced visualization allows surgeons to better distinguish cancerous tissue from surrounding healthy brain tissue. This advanced technology supports more complete tumor removal while preserving critical areas of the brain.
