LAKE COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Alan Hays, Lake County supervisor of elections, announces early voting (EV) for the primary election. Early Voting for the Tuesday, August 18, 2026, primary election will be held Thursday, August 6–Saturday, August 15 at 12 convenient locations to serve Lake County voters. Early voting locations will be open 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Secure Ballot Intake Stations (formerly known as Drop Boxes) will be available at each EV location for those who wish to deposit their completed vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots. Voters may also return their VBM ballot via USPS (allow for 5-7 day delivery) or in-person to the Supervisor of Elections Office at 1898 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares. VBM ballots must be received at the elections office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, August 18th.
