LAKE COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Lake County Supervisor of Elections, Alan Hays revealed the winners of the department’s inaugural “I Voted” sticker art contest in an announcement on Wednesday, May 22, 2026.
The contest, which encouraged area students in two age categories, 9-12 and 13-18, to submit original artwork for a unique “I Voted” sticker to be given to residents who cast ballots in this year’s primary and general elections in the county, called for submissions in February and ran through the end of March.
And the winners are:
- Ages 9-12: Kaleah Loyd, a sixth-grade student at East Ridge Middle School
- Ages 13-18: Emily Ngo, a tenth-grade student at Mount Dora High School
“The level of talent and creativity was remarkable. The judges and I had our work cut out for us. Congratulations to both Kaleah and Emily for their outstanding submissions,” said Supervisor Hays in the announcement. “This contest is one way to engage future voters in our community. I’m extremely pleased with the turnout, and I would like to thank every student who participated.”

Submissions were judged on theme, creativity, technique and composition by a panel of judges, who passed three finalists in each age category on to Hays to select winners. Hays presented framed certificates to both winners at a reception attended by their parents and respective teachers.
