OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Mellow Mushroom has introduced a major menu update featuring new salads and an expanded beverage program, now available at locations nationwide, including in Ocala.
The Atlanta-based pizza chain announced the rollout began April 28, marking what the company calls its largest menu update to date.
The refreshed menu includes a lineup of reimagined salads and new options designed to offer lighter fare alongside the brand’s signature pizzas. New additions include the Asian Crunch salad, featuring pineapple, crispy onions and a creamy Asian dressing, and the Apple Harvest salad with apples, cheeses and candied pecans.
Classic options like the Caesar, Greek, Cobb and House salads have also been updated with new ingredients and flavor profiles. Guests can add grilled or crispy chicken to any salad, and throughout May, the chain is offering free chicken add-ons with the purchase of a regular salad.
“Our goal wasn’t to reinvent these menu categories, but to refine and elevate them in ways our guests can immediately taste,” said Elizabeth Brasch, vice president of marketing for Mellow Mushroom.
The update also includes a revamped beverage program, introducing new cocktails such as the Moondust Margarita, Watermelon Zinger and Spicy Mango Margarita, along with spritz options, martinis and specialty shots. Non-alcoholic drinks and a selection of beers with remain available.
