OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala has one of the most striking and evocative yet welcoming veterans’ memorial parks in existence, and a lot of the credit for creating and maintaining it has to go to the Friends of Marion County Veterans Park, the volunteer-driven nonprofit that looks after it via the Marion County Veterans Memorial Park Foundation.
Next week, the Ocala location of casual steakhouse chain Texas Roadhouse will host a fundraiser for the organization.
On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the restaurant, located at 3015 SW 32nd Ave. in Ocala, will donate 10 percent of all food purchases made between 4 and 8 p.m. to the cause.
