OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala and Marion County residents have a new opportunity to showcase their hometown (homecounty?) pride.
The Ocala/Marion County Visitors & Convention Bureau announced on Tuesday, March 19, 2026, that they’d opened a new online retail portal at shop.ocalamarion.com to sell everything from shirts, hats and tumblers to tote bags, coolers, onesies and even whiskey glasses and chilling stones. (For the non-bourbon-obsessed, chilling stones are these beautiful rocks you can put in your glass so you can drink your whiskey cold but still “neat,” i.e. not watered down by melting ice.)
It’s all pretty stylishly branded stuff, most emblazoned with the bureau’s mildly impressionistic horse-and-water logo–some items add a few strokes to turn the logo into a heart, while others also include the tagline “Florida’s Natural Wonder.”
The most expensive item in the shop? A matching pair of whiskey glasses that come in a gorgeous felt-lined wooden box for $43.79. The least expensive? The square shot glass, at $17.66.

This writer’s favorite item out of the available merch? It’s a three-way tie between the embroidered crew socks ($31.63), perfectly kayak-sized soft-sided cooler ($33.44), and the surprisingly inexpensive wooden cutting board ($29.32). But there’s something for everyone, whether you want to rep Ocala/Marion via baseball cap, leatherette wine bottle bag, or your infant’s outfit.

“Show your Ocala/Marion County pride with a collection of branded merchandise perfect for gifts, guest experiences and everyday use,” read the announcement, in part. “From hats and totes to wine glasses, coasters and cutting boards, the store features a variety of items that celebrate our destination and horse country lifestyle.”
The store is open and taking orders now.
