MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Talia, a breathtaking 10-year-old all-black German shepherd, still has the energy of a pup half her age, and the fine folks at Marion County Animal Services are hoping she’ll find a home that perfectly balances her age and her energy.
She’s been at the shelter far too long, having come to MCAS last September when a family moved and left her behind. She was adopted out once, but the older gentleman who took her home developed a medical condition and she was re-surrendered.
Talia loves to pick her own toy; she’s also very treat-motivated. She’s housebroken and knows a few basic commands. At 88 pounds, she’s a lot of dog for other dogs to deal with–she does get along with other pets, but needs an owner with the time and patience to properly introduce her to a new pack.
