OCALA, FL (352today.com) – They shoulda named him Rocky 3.
This 60-pound bundle of energy, love and smiles only has three legs; he came into Marion County Animal Services, around a year ago, as a stray with a badly broken leg. The vets tried their best to save it, but in the end, it had to be amputated.
Now about three years old, Rocky doesn’t let his condition slow him down, however—he can run with the best of them and loves a game of fetch. He’s a great puller for tug-of-war, too, and when playtime is done, he’ll sneak over to lay beside you and utterly destroy one of his soft toys.

If you’re looking for a companion who’ll run you ragged when you want, and sit for scratches when it’s time to relax, think about giving this inspiring canine the home he deserves. You can find out more and arrange a meet-and-greet with Rocky by visiting the Marion County Animal Services website or calling 352-671-8700.
