MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Meet Laddie, a gorgeous six-year-old collie who’s only been at the Humane Society of Marion County for a week, and surely won’t be there for very much longer.

Laddie was surrendered by an owner who unfortunately ran into some health issues. This good boy is well-trained and treat-motivated, so a patient owner will surely be able to teach him a few new tricks.

Laddie’s long, noble shnoot and perked ears lend him that classic, regal collie look, and that fuzzy coat makes him a great cuddle companion on the couch or in bed. (Though you’ll probably want to buy stock in lint rollers.)

He’s very smart and very expressive, but those sharp eyes soften for any and all belly rubs.

Anyone interested in meeting Laddie can find out more at the Humane Society of Marion County’s website, and set up an introduction by calling 352-873-7387.
