OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Fine Arts For Ocala will host its annual “Symphony Under the Stars” on May 10 at the Ocala Golf Club, combining live music, food and fireworks for a Mother’s Day celebration.

The outdoor concert begins with gates opening at 3 p.m., followed by performances from The Becky Baby Band at 5 p.m. and the Ocala Symphony Orchestra at 7:15 p.m. The evening will conclude with a fireworks finale scheduled for 9 p.m.

The event held at 3130 E Silver Springs Blvd., serves as a fundraiser supporting Fine Arts For Ocala and its mission to bring arts programming to Marion County.

Attendees can expect pre-concert entertainment, local vendors and a full symphony performance conducted by Maestro Matthew Wardell.

General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate, with youth tickets priced at $5 for ages 13-17. Admission is free for children 12 and under.

Premium experiences are also available, including the Maestro’s Meal package, which offers catered dining, reserved seating, VIP parking and a meet-and-greet with Wardell. An additional lounge-style upgrade, the Overture Oasis, includes private seating and drink tickets as an add-on to general admission.

Food vendors will include Fun Time Foods, Brick and Ember Pizza, Country Boyz BBQ, The Krafty Kettle, Papa’s Pineapples, Brian’s Bites Concessions, Curbside Cuisine and Kona Ice Ocala. Additional activities include a flower truck, face painting and games hosted by the City of Ocala RecMobile.

Guests are encouraged to bring picnic items, chairs and blankets. Food, water, soft drinks, beer and wine are permitted, though tents, large umbrellas and pets are not allowed. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase on-site.

Organizers said volunteers are still needed for the event, with participants receiving two free tickets and community services hours.
