OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by the Alert Marion system for Ocala, Belleview and eastern parts of Marion County, among other areas.
The alert was issued at 5:19 p.m., and runs until 6 p.m. The alert warns of high winds up to 60 mph, capable of damaging roofs, siding and trees.
Residents are cautioned to stay inside and off rural tree-lined roads if possible.
