This year’s storm names include Andrea, Barry, Chantal, Dexter, Erin, Fernand, Gabrielle, Humberto, Imelda, Jerry, Karen, Lorenzo, Melissa, Nestor, Olga, Pablo, Rebekah, Sebastien, Tanya, Van, and Wendy.
The Atlantic hurricane season officially runs from June 1 through November 30, with early forecasts predicting near-average activity. Residents are encouraged to stay informed and prepare as the season approaches.
