OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Afternoon thunderstorms are back in the 352 as Florida’s heat and humidity start to ramp up this week. The National Weather Service says we’ll see a more typical summer pattern setting in, with daily chances for pop-up storms, mostly during the late afternoon. Some areas may stay dry, but others could get hit with heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds.

Tuesday: A 20% chance of showers after 2 p.m. Sunny, with a high near 93. Light and variable wind.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93.
Wednesday Night: A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.
Thursday: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 92.
