HERNANDO COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says a 74-year-old Brooksville man died after crashing his golf cart.
FHP says on Saturday, Dec. 9, around 11 a.m. the man was traveling west on a golf cart path near Meetinghouse Lane when he suffered a medical emergency.
Troopers say the cart ran off the path and hit a tree. They say the force of the impact threw the driver from the cart and into a nearby pond.
They say the man died at the scene.
