MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Responders are on the scene of a two-car collision near the intersection of West HWY 40 and SW 140th Avenue.
According to a social media announcement by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred between two vehicles on 40 at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
“Both lanes of Highway 40 near this intersection are closed at this time,” read the announcement, which was posted at 8:11 a.m. “The Florida Highway Patrol is responding to investigate the crash. Please find an alternate route and avoid the area.”
