ORLANDO, FL (352today.com) – Later this month, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) will be hosting a one-stop, two-day event in Orlando to help future troopers apply faster.

The FHP Streamline event covers all in-person steps of the hiring process, including a polygraph (lie detector) exam, vision exam, medical exam, fingerprinting, and a physical abilities test. The only part of the selection process that must take longer than the two-day event is a comprehensive background check.

After this event, FHP says prospective troopers will be ready to attend the 153rd Basic Recruit Class, which starts Jan. 15, 2024.

Before applicants can RSVP to FHP Streamline, they must first complete an online application here. Then, they can RSVP to FHP Streamline via email at BeATrooper@flhsmv.gov.

FHP Streamline will be held in Orlando from Monday, Oct. 23 to Friday, Oct. 27. More details will be given to selected applicants, who will receive an invitation to the event.

For more information, visit the FHP Streamline webpage or contact Trooper Cabral at JonathanCabral@flhsmv.gov.
