OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Police Department arrested the three individuals involved in a video prank that took place on a median along SW College Road on September 27, 2026, which resulted in one of them being struck by a truck.

Arrest affidavits concerning Christopher Coleman, 20, Andrew Costa-De Souza, 19, and Ruben Rodriguez, 18, were generated Oct. 7, and appear to have been received by the court on Oct. 14.

All three men have been charged with Unlawful Assembly and Dangerous Use of Public Right of Way, two misdemeanors.

The men were performing a haircut on the median of the 2500 block of SW College Road on Sept. 27 and capturing the occasion on video for online distribution when a nearby traffic collision caused a Chevrolet pickup truck to veer onto the median. While Coleman and Costa-De Souza were able to avoid the vehicle, Rodriguez, who was seated in a chair on the median with his back to the relevant lanes, was struck and suffered serious injuries.

It has not yet been reported whether or not the young men’s video stunt caused or had anything to do with the nearby traffic collision, in which a Lexus SUV reportedly entered College Road from a parking lot in front of the Chevrolet pickup.

“The Ocala Police Department emphasizes that stunts of this nature are reckless and dangerous, and place both participants and motorists at significant risk,” read the OPD statement. “Such actions will not be tolerated.”
