BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The inaugural Belleview Community Resource and Conservation Fair at the Belleview Community Center gave residents an opportunity to learn about available local resources.

The fair focused on healthcare, wellness, and education, with an emphasis on conservation.

More than 30 community resource partners participated in the July 28, 2025 event, which coincided with World Nature Conservation Day. In addition to resource booths, the fair featured food trucks and conservation-based activities, according to event organizer Steve Sloan. Presentations were given by the Florida Native Plant Society, the Master Gardeners Program, and S&H Apiary.

“We came out to talk about how to preserve honeybees in their habitat and also offer some things that the honeybees produce,” said Sean Robinson of S&H Apiary in Silver Springs Shores. “Honeybees do such great things. They make natural sweeteners. They help grow all of our food. We offer a lot of other services too, like honeybee removal, mentoring, and we sell live honeybees.”
