OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is rapidly approaching. Here are five ways to make the most of your November in the 352!
Grab your Christmas shopping list and head to Ocala’s largest indoor Holiday Craft Show Saturday and Sunday, November 18 & 19 at the World Equestrian Center! With over 300 artisans in attendance, there’s bound to be something for everyone on your list!

Taking place on Saturday, Nov. 18, downtown Ocala illuminates with vendors, entertainment, and holiday festivities as the city celebrates the 39th Annual Light Up Ocala. The lighting ceremony takes place at 6:30 p.m. but come early and enjoy the Junior Sunshine holiday parade with a special appearance by the big man in red!
Cited as an “explosive dramatic comedy,” Ocala Civic Theatre opens the curtains with live performances on select dates through November featuring a feuding family, a widowed artist, and a surprising kindred spirit.
Explore what Florida was like in the 1800s as volunteers extend tours of the Pioneer Village at the Silver River Museum & Environmental Education Center on Saturday, Nov. 25. The “cracker” village provides an assortment of historic and replica structures such as cabins, schoolhouses, a blacksmith shop, and more. Tours are free to the public, but regular state park admission fees apply.
