OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala Fire Rescue is joining forces with the Florida Department of Health (DOH-Marion) to present a non-certificate overview of CPR for pregnant and postpartum mothers, as well as their families and caregivers, on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026.

“Participants will learn how to respond to cardiopulmonary emergencies until first responders arrive, and how to assist a choking victim,” read an announcement. “OFR emphasizes the importance of early CPR initiation for infants and toddlers to help increase the chances of survival during emergencies.”
