MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a deadly accident on Highway 301 in Marion County.
Troopers say a 29-year-old woman from Ormond Beach died after being hit by multiple vehicles on Highway 301.
FHP says the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The woman was in the southbound inside left lane at the time.
Troopers don’t know if the woman was standing or laying in the road when an unknown vehicle hit her. They say she was then hit by multiple other vehicles.
