OCALA, FL – (352today.com) – Marion County Public Schools, the largest employer in Marion County, is expanding its workforce and actively hiring teachers for the upcoming school year. The district is hosting a virtual instructional hiring fair on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., to fill positions across all grade levels.

Openings include roles in physical education, Exceptional Student Education, math (grades 5-9 and 6-12), and science (grades 5-9 and 6-12). The district also seeks candidates for student service positions, such as social workers and school counselors. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Florida Teacher Certificate through the Florida Department of Education.
