MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Office of the County Engineer announced that NE 212th Street Road in northeastern Marion County will be completely closed to traffic for “major roadway/drainage repairs” for at least a week beginning Monday, July 13, 2026.
Work crews will be on-site just northeast of NE 199th Ln. at 8 a.m. next Monday, according to the announcement, and the thoroughfare will be completely closed to all traffic in both directions.
Motorists are directed to use a posted detour following CR 315, CR 316 and NE 148th Terrace Rd.

“Operations are planned to take the entire week, possibly longer given considerations for weather or unforeseen impacts,” read the statement.
“Crews will place barricades and signs detouring traffic around work zone. Travelers should expect delays and use alternate routes, when possible. Adverse weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules. Motorists are encouraged to plan for potential delays and drive with caution.”
